I’ve been thinking a lot about The Brother’s Creed series lately with the Kickstarter I’m running for the Anniversary Edition (if you haven’t heard of it yet, check it out HERE). With all of this thinking, I realized just how much I loved writing this story and the crazy way it came about. So I decided to make a video about it and post on my Kickstarter and I figured I’d share it here too. Enjoy!
The story started off as a simple school project that turned into a full book. That book was meant to be a standalone but grew into the five book series you see today. It’s a story about a group’s struggle to survive the apocalypse, to find hope amidst the darkness, and continuing on even when all feels lost.
I hope you enjoyed this short look into the series. If you did, let me know and maybe I’ll continue to do some small videos like this!

The Brother’s Creed! Wow, I had just finished the boxset on Audible and I must say that this entire series is friggin awesome! I’m not really into the zombie apocalypse stories, but this one drew me in, kept me interested all the way through. From the amazing characters to their crazy adventures, it is a must read! I hope to hear more from this series and also about some of your current work that is planned. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks Kirk! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I do have some things planned for the future and am currently working on a fantasy trilogy before I go back to apocalyptic!
I am almost finished with the anniversary addition that I bought straight from you at the Wausaukee fair thing in October!!! Best books!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Jameson! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Let me know what you think of the ending!
The brothers creed.. I don’t even know where to start.
I work in a factory and listen to a lot of podcasts and audio books,, I stumbled upon outbreak on Spotify one day just scrolling looking for a new book and decided to give it a try.
Little did I know I had just found my new obsession, these books are so good and something I’ve never quite seen before very unique even in such a used genre.
The writing is just WOW! Never before have I felt so close and relatable to characters before with even the same mindset.
Ended up getting 4 other friends listing to the series.
Can’t read physical books very well but will be definitely ordering a hard copy of the anniversary edition to show support.
can’t wait for what the future holds for new books from Joshua!
Hey Ethan! Thanks so much for the kind words. I’m truly glad you enjoyed them! It warms my heart to get comments like this, as the writing process can be a lonely endeavour and sometimes the voice of doubt can scream the loudest. It’s comments like this and readers like you that keep me going when the writing gets tough!
I’m working on a few projects at the moment and trying to balance kids, work, and renovations, so nothing will happen fast, but I’m keeping progress moving forward!
Thanks again for reaching out, man. I really appreciate it!
